Logo and identity elements for NRG—a global insights and strategy firm at the intersection of content, culture, and technology. The new identity is designed to work across a wide range of disciplines, including entertainment, technology, lifestyle, sports, and gaming.

NRG Logo

Inspired by the imagination, depth, and clarity that NRG brings to their clients’ challenges, the visual identity is based on punctuation. Punctuation clarifies meaning, expresses feeling, and asks questions. It brings stories to life and shapes information into action.

Brand guidelines

The logo is based on the shape of quotation marks, representing the sharing and distillation of insight gained through conversations with audiences.

NRG Logo

The brand typeface—Messina Modern—has unique serifs that echo the angles in the logo. The Messina family balances modern and traditional type design, providing the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of applications, from editorial content to tech products.
